Come support young entrepreneurs from our community!
Students will display their talent by developing a brand, creating a product or service, designing a marketing strategy, and then opening up their business for customers during this one-day marketplace event.
We will host booths on Saturday, September 20 from 5pm – 7pm at St. Helen Elementary School, 5086 Burkhardt Rd, Riverside, OH 45431
This event is sponsored by New Generation Youth Education where we believe each student has gifts, talents, and abilities that enable them to have a successful future.

The Mini Mogul Marketplace provides a space for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and abilities to the local community.
We will accept up to 50 businesses.
Visit our website ngye.org to apply as a business owner and share the event with others.
The application period will open on July 20th and will run until available spots are filled or until Sept 1, 2025, whichever occurs first. Applications must be submitted online. Please submit one application for each business. Students, ages 6 – 14 years, working as a group should submit one application that includes each student’s information. No more than 3 participants per business. There is a $10 fee per business that will be due after a business application has been accepted.
The application asks students to think through some simple, but important elements of their business:
We want the event to be as realistic as possible. Some level of market competition is healthy and fun. If we receive multiple applications for the same type of product, we will let later entries know that other applicants have a similar idea so the later entrant can decide what to do; however, later applications may be declined if multiple earlier applications of a similar business were accepted.
The Marketplace will be held indoors at St. Helen Elementary School, 5086 Burkhardt Rd, Riverside, OH 45431. Each business will be given an 8 ft table space that will include (1) 8 ft table and 2 chairs. If additional chairs are needed please bring them from home.
We will only be able to provide electricity for a limited number of booths. Please reserve in advance.
Yes! Local business owners will be present at the fair and will visit each booth to ask students various questions about their products and business practices. Awards will be given within the following age categories:
6-8 year olds, 9-11 year olds and 12-14 year olds. Please note that the category of participation is based on the OLDEST member in each business.
This event is designed to give students, ages 6 – 14 years of age, the experience of selling a product or service. If a parent is found selling or promoting a student’s product or service, their student’s business will be disqualified from the competition.
Parents of younger students may sit in the booth, but the students should be responsible for set up, customer interaction, and sales.
Parents may help their student fill out the application, but we expect the students to do as much as possible by themselves.
